About us

Rebekah started ballet at the age of 3 years old at Elvet Ballet School in Durham. As a child she also studied tap, modern, acrobatics and gymnastics.

Rebekah was awarded a place to train professionally at Northern Ballet School and was also fortunate to recieve an arts council dance and drama award to enable her to do so.

After graduating from Northern Ballet School Rebekah enjoyed a sucessful career as a professional dancer, head dancer and production manager working around the world and within the UK for amongst others: Costa Crociere, Manchester City Ballet, Jazz Galore Company, Main Feature Productions and the BBC.

After this Rebekah had a change of career and focused upon her other passion, the environment. She worked as professional diving instructor around the world before coming to Bangor to study Marine Biology. She is currently studying for a PhD in Marine Biology at the School of Ocean Sciences.

During her time in Bangor Rebekah has continued to teach ballet, running sucessful adults ballet classes and university dance club lessons. After having her baby daughter Rebekah had a break from teaching, but is now very exited to be starting up lessons again for adults . She is also thrilled to introduce a new class for children, through which she hopes to pass on the enjoyment and passion dance has given her to her very tiny dancers !
